If every household in the U.S. replaced one light bulb with an ENERGY STAR qualified compact flourescent light bulb (CFL), it would prevent enough pollution to equal removing one million cars from the road.

Lighting represents about 30% of the electrical usage in most commercial sites. Our goal is to upgrade the lighting system to maximize energy efficiency while optimizing comfort, safety and productivity.

The pace of innovation in lighting is tremendous. The latest generation of electronic ballasts and lamps is incredibly efficient, small and quiet. New T-8 and T-5 fluorescent systems controlled by these ballasts can reduce energy consumption by over 50%, while providing better, more comfortable lighting. Compact fluorescent Lamps (CFL’s) now meet virtually any size, shape and temperature requirement, all while using 60% less electricity than equivalent incandescent lamps.

Just as importantly, the new generation of lamps lasts much longer (CFL’s can last 15,000 hrs as opposed to 750 for most incandescent). This dramatically improves the maintenance cycle, further reducing costs.

Improved color rendering allows retailers to reap the benefits of these new lighting systems while achieving the desired ambiance so critical to their businesses.
